After graduating from Minnesota State University Mankato with a bachelor’s degree in corrections, Krisann pivoted her focus to serving those with mental illnesses and/or disabilities. Entering the field in 2012 as a youth counselor in a residential treatment center. Krisann then became a behavioral therapist focusing primarily on the needs and challenges of those with autism, for both adults and children. In 2016, Krisann joined Fourth Avenue Homes, Inc. as a Human Services Technician working hands-on with vulnerable adults in the Mankato area. Krisann was promoted to Program Coordinator managing the day-to-day operations of Fourth Avenue Homes, Inc.’s first youth site in addition to other sites. Krisann is now Program Director of the Mankato Division spanning from Carver County to Steele County.
